Gallery Opening Friday May 23, 2008

Steve & Colleen Aichle visited Cody in September of 2007.  It was part of a promise to attend a new art show each year.  Once there for the ’07 Rendezvous Royale, the couple fell in love with Cody.  In 72 hours they bought a home on Rumsey, an easy stroll to the museum.  When they returned in March to furnish their get-a-way home, they found a business
slot on Sheridan Ave (formerly Kilian Gallery) and the vision of
Cody Fine Art was ignited.

The Aichles have collected original fine art for over 35 years and
have two galleries in Fallbrook CA in the heart of its historic downtown.  Establishing a fine art gallery in historic Cody seemed a logical next
step in their love affair with art.

Cody Fine Art will feature many of the top artists currently working
in the West and provide a showcase for a select handful of young promising artists.  Ashley Aden Stewart will be the gallery director.  She has apprenticed with a fine conservation framer for five years and will bring that expertise to the gallery.  Clients will be able to have their framing needs
met on site.
